i live in Monterrey Mexico, my town is recognized to by my country's industrial engine, we build, we create, we manufacture, we do anything.
more or less 120 years ago the first steel smelter industry in LatinAmerica was built in this place(it was named "FUNDIDORA") and made of Monterrey one filthy rich place hahahahah. but it was gonna happen eventually, around the 80's everybody noticed how much it was polluting and they decided to shut it down..... it was kinda sad but it was necessary. at that moment "fundidora" had a big terrein all around it and they had schools for the workers and stuff within, Government tookover the place and that school was converted into an Fine Arts School wehere i did my High, it was so fucking cool to have all these structures in the background everyday at class. like 2 years after i graduated they began with the "parque Fundidora project" wich consisted in converting the whole factory site in a green natural area with amazing structures inside. its a great park now- i love it. and i have this photo for you all. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
